The Coterie Theatre and Kansas City G.I.F.T. are thrilled to announce a collaborative initiative to uplift our community!
As The Coterie Theatre honors the legacy of Tom Bass with its world premiere of Horse Power: Tom Bass' American Story, Kansas City G.I.F.T. continues its mission to close the racial wealth gap, address poverty-related crime, and dismantle systemic racism in our city.
We invite you to join us in this commitment by making a contribution of $10, $25, or $50 to Kansas City G.I.F.T.
The organization works to reverse the effects of systemic racism by empowering Black business owners with financial support through grants, free business resources, and education. To date, Kansas City G.I.F.T. has distributed over $1.7 million in grants to more than 70 businesses and allocated over $250,000 for technical assistance to grantees.
Your generous contributions enable Kansas City G.I.F.T. to continue supporting Black-owned enterprises, fostering job creation, and transforming economically disadvantaged areas into zones of opportunity.
