In the book of Acts chapter 6, we witness a pivotal moment where seven individuals are chosen to steward the distribution of resources, ensuring that the teaching of God's word isn't neglected. This passage serves as a profound reminder of the diverse roles Christians are called to fulfill: not only to spread the love of Jesus through the teaching of His Word but also to actively engage in governance, leadership, and vision-setting within Christian organizations. This passage is also a call for us to cultivate and empower Christian men and women for these critical tasks.

This last year I've had the immense privilege of participating in The Board Internship (TBI) that aims to equip young Christian leaders aged 22 to 35 with knowledge and experience required to take their place in Christian boardrooms of the future. TBI provides interns like myself with immersive learning experiences through attendance at conferences, participation in specialized webinars, one-on-one mentoring sessions, and a year-long collaboration with a host board (and all of this at no cost to me!)

I would love for you to prayerfully consider partnering with me in investing in more young Christian leaders that can be trained for mission in boardroom governance and leadership. With the average age of board members across Australia on the rise, the need is greater now more than ever to train young leaders to create sustainable, well-run, mission-oriented organizations both now and into the future.

The Board Internship is not a standalone organisation, but is a partnership between CMA and Korus Connect (The Council for Christian Education in Schools). Korus Connect has confirmed that the activities of The Board Internship meet the criteria of their deductible gift recipient status, and therefore donations to ‘The Board Internship’ will actually be donations to Korus Connect (The Council for Christian Education in Schools), and a tax-deductible receipt will be issued within five days.
