Goal

I am grateful to be participating in The Board Internship (TBI), a year-long program designed to equip emerging Christian leaders with the wisdom, tools, and experience needed to serve faithfully and effectively on ministry boards.

As part of my internship, I have been placed on the Cornerstone Housing board, where I am gaining invaluable, hands-on exposure to governance and leadership in a Christian not-for-profit context. This opportunity is helping me grow as a leader while also learning how boards can shape strategic direction, accountability, and impact for God’s kingdom.

Why does this matter?

Boards play a crucial role in guiding the organisations that shape how we live, work, play, and worship. In Christian organisations especially, boards are often the key vehicles God uses to fulfil His purposes. Equipping the next generation of board members to lead with faith, wisdom, and integrity is vital for the future of Christian ministries and communities.

TBI is unique because it grounds governance training in a faith lens—encouraging interns to seek God’s wisdom in everything from finance to strategy to risk. This is not just about professional development; it’s about forming leaders who will serve with reverence and build God’s kingdom through faithful governance.

How Can You Help?

Interns like me are not charged a fee to participate, ensuring the program is accessible to those with the right heart and calling, not just those who can afford it. However, there is still a gap in funding. Each intern is asked to raise $1000 to help cover program costs.

Your donation will directly support my journey through this program and help fund the future of Christian governance. More than that, it will invest in raising a new generation of leaders equipped to guide ministries with wisdom, accountability, and faith.

Will You Partner With Me?

I invite you to prayerfully consider making a tax-deductible donation - either one-off or recurring towards my fundraising goal. Together, I believe we can build stronger Christian boards and stronger ministries that serve God’s purposes.

Thank you for your generosity and for walking with me on this journey.

The Board Internship is not a standalone organisation, but is a partnership between CMA and Korus Connect (The Council for Christian Education in Schools). Korus Connect has confirmed that the activities of The Board Internship meet the criteria of their deductible gift recipient status, and therefore donations to ‘The Board Internship’ will actually be donations to Korus Connect (The Council for Christian Education in Schools), and a tax-deductible receipt will be issued within five days.
