Goal
Hello friends <3
I’ve had the opportunity to join a program called The Board Internship (TBI), which is a year-long journey designed to help Christian leaders —aged 22 to 35—gain a deep understanding of ministry governance. Through conferences, training webinars, and a year-long placement on the board of a host organisation, we’re given the chance to learn and experience what it takes to contribute effectively in Christian boardrooms. By the end of the program, I hope to learn what it looks like to serve in Christian leadership as a humble servant leader for Jesus.
What is The Board Internship?
TBI is a joint effort between Korus Connect and CMA, two organisations dedicated to helping Christian ministries be as effective and impactful as possible.
How is the internship funded?
Participation in TBI comes at no cost to the interns—our travel and conference expenses are covered by the program. Host organisations contribute towards these costs, but their support doesn’t cover everything. To make up the difference, each of us is asked to raise $1,000 to help cover the remaining program expenses. In addition, Korus Connect and CMA are working to raise matching funds to support essential program elements like staffing and administration.
How you can support me or the Board Internship?
Raising support is not something I've done before and I would be deeply grateful for any support that you may give.
You can contribute directly to my fundraising goal or make a general donation to the TBI program. Every donation, whether one-time or recurring, is tax-deductible and plays a vital role in ensuring that young leaders can continue to grow and contribute to ministry boards.
Thank you for listening. Your support would mean so much to me. It's definitely a learning opportunity for me to be both on the board and learning to fundraise, but it would help ensure that the work of ministry boards is strengthened for the future.
Thank you!
