Small Change Big Change: Restore, Protect and Conserve Raja Ampat's Reefs

SMALL CHANGE. BIG CHANGE.

Saving Coral Reefs is in Your Hands.

Act now to help protect the reefs of Raja Ampat; the most marine biodiverse location on Earth.

The world’s most biodiverse reefs are under threat. YOU can help protect them.

Support local people in Raja Ampat to protect and restore coral reefs through sustainable community projects.  Just €5-€15 a month from committed individuals around the world, will help Restore, Protect and Conserve Raja Ampat’s reefs while supporting the communities that depend on them.

- €5-€10 a month adds up to support essential running costs.
- €15 a month
restores 1sqm of degraded reef, protects 1sqm of healthy reef and supports local livelihoods.

Each month, the Small Change in your pocket, leads to Big Change in the field!

The SEA People (locally named ‘Orang Laut Papua’), is a field based Foundation working to contribute to the protection of one of the last locations on Earth where coral reef systems still thrive.

Taking a holistic approach to marine conservation, we work with local communities, who depend on healthy coral reefs for both food and livelihoods, and aim to provide mutually beneficial solutions to ecosystems based management.  By combining science and technology with traditional skills and management techniques, we focus largely on capacity building; strengthening the ability of local community members to obtain the skills, knowledge and understanding required for improved management, protection and enhancement of local marine resources.

Projects include:

As a non-profit, we operate exclusively on donations, and where available, grants. It is only through the  contribution of generous supporters around the world that we are able to achieve our mission to RESTORE, PROTECT and CONSERVE the world's most biodiverse reefs, alongside the local communities.  When you offer your support to  The SEA People, you join a global tribe of individuals and organisations who ACT to make a DIFFERENCE, and you play a vital role in the safeguarding of the future of Raja Ampat's reefs.

With 100% of all that is received going towards fieldwork, your contribution has direct impact in the field.

We are grateful for your support, and humbled by your belief in our efforts.
