The 1928 Society

What is it? The 1928 Society, through the Florida FFA Foundation, is a new program allowing individuals to make recurring tax-deductible monthly gifts using a credit or debit card. By joining The 1928 Society, you pledge to join an elite group of individual FFA supporters who contribute a recurring gift of at least $19.28 a month.

Why 1928? It was this very special year when the “Future Farmers of America” was founded by 33 young farm boys. Their mission was to prepare future generations for the challenges of feeding a growing population. They taught us that agriculture is more than planting and harvesting – it’s a science, it’s a business and it’s an art. Their contributions have made a lasting impact.

Who can join? Supporters, members, alumni, past officers, parents and friends with a passion for supporting the current success and future of Florida FFA!

How does it work? Using the link below, enter your information and select the level of your monthly contribution. The Florida FFA Foundation will process your gift each month. Gift amounts can be changed as the need arises and a member can cancel at any time. Society members can expect to receive a gift acknowledgment letter, FFA updates during the year and a specialized decal upon signing up for membership.

Where will my money go? Your monthly, 100% tax deductible, gift will be allocated by the Florida FFA Foundation wherever the need is greatest for the advancement of student and teacher programming, awards, and support. Your generosity allows us to continue our mission of securing and managing resources in order to support agriculture education and the Florida FFA Association.

Does $19.28 a month really make a difference? YES, it most certainly does! Your monthly contribution adds up quickly and helps to further cultivate the next generation by growing leaders, building communities, and strengthening agriculture. Your support is an investment in the future of Florida.
