Goal

Hope + Vine equips former foster youth to live with purpose and freedom. Authentic relationships are built, which allow for mentoring and connection to needed resources so they can become self-sustaining, thriving adults.

On May 17th, we will be serving a widow in our community, at no cost to her.

Cindy has lived in the historic district of Wake Forest since 1989. Her late husband, Russ, taught at Southeastern Seminary until his passing in 2008. Cindy invests in her community through teaching a Sunday school as well as leading a class for widows. Not only is this Widow Project assisting Cindy with needed yard work, but it is also investing in the Historical District of Wake Forest.

We're gathering the supplies and volunteers, and now we need generous giving!

All proceeds from this project will go to support a woman in the Hope + Vine program who has aged out of foster care.

Programming costs between  $12,000 and $20,000 a year for each Hope + Vine participant. This includes mental health services, financial coaching, transportation, plus additional programming.

Our goal is to raise $15,000 to help cover this cost!
