The Widow Project

Hope + Vine equips former foster youth to live with purpose and freedom. Authentic relationships are built, which allow for mentoring and connection to needed  resources so they can become self-sustaining, thriving adults.

On July 20th, we will be serving Alona, a widow in our community, at no cost

to her. We will be clearing out and cleaning up her yard, a large task that she has not been able to complete since her husband of 34 years died in 2022.

We've gathered the supplies, and now we need sponsorships! Together we are supporting former foster youth by serving a widow in our community.

All proceeds from this project will go to support a woman in the Hope + Vine program who has aged out of foster care.

Programming costs between  $12,000 and $20,000 a year for each Hope + Vine participant. This includes mental health services, financial coaching, transportation, plus additional programming.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to help cover this cost!
