Free Haven Farms is teaming up with Norma's Eastern Mediterranean Restaurant to bring the "SNAP back" program to South Jersey!!
This program will back (support) snap benefit members during this time of crisis in which they have lost access to food.
We will assist local neighbors in our community that are on SNAP and/or experiencing difficulties by providing high-quality, nutritious, ready-made meals made (by Norma's) with local, farm-fresh, regeneratively-grown produce (by Free Haven Farms), while SNAP benefits are not available and government workers go unpaid.
These meals go beyond your typical disaster-relief meals. This food is made with produce that is grown in the highest quality soil, free from chemicals and GMOs. The dishes are prepared and cooked with attention to detail, flavor and quality. This program will deliver vibrant and delicious meals cultivated with love and intention. This program also emphasizes the importance of a sustainable and localized food system that will be able to withstand disruptions and instability that have become far too common in the past few years.
We are raising funds through our nonprofit organization, Free Haven Institute for Science and Agriculture (FHISA). Meals will be distributed at Norma's in Cherry Hill and throughout South Jersey via our network of trusted Pantry Partners.
