The Simple Jesus Book

                                                                        

The Simple Jesus is a short excerpt from my life, taken from a period of time shortly after my depravity had reached its depth and my self-righteous pride had reached a pinnacle. It is about how the Lord positioned me to unpack my sin, rid myself of pride and religiosity, and the simplistic work of Jesus in my life. It is His work that has renewed my heart, robed me in righteousness, and set me on the path of simplifying my walk with Him.

                       

It is not intended to be theological in its approach, or to propagate some new doctrine or movement. Simply put, it is about the opening moments of forgiveness, confession, justification, and the discovery of a simplistic way to walk with the Lord.

                       

I have no credibility to claim, no pedigree, no plaques, and no authority worth speaking of. I am a lot like David, Gideon, and Samson. The only authority I claim is the Word of God and that I have finally come to grips with my story and where it fits in the story of Jesus, The Author and Finisher of our Faith along with an understanding of the path that I have been on.
