Orísun Productions launches The Seun Shote Initiative in memory of the late actor who died suddenly on 15 March last year. The initiative will provide opportunities for young aspiring actors from the Black community and others from under-represented groups, by hosting free workshops with established industry professionals.

This crowdfunding campaign will help to fund the Initiative. Starting during the Easter half term 2023, a week-long workshop will be run by experienced youth facilitators for children aged 13 to 19. Professionals from every aspect of the industry will be invited to speak to young people who will be drawn from communities under-represented within the creative industries. 

Your generous donation will help us to provide, among other things, a healthy lunch and snacks; a trip to a theatre show; a goodie bag for each young person; and an end of project show performed to an audience of friends, family and other supporters.
