How Will We Cope?
These statements are all too common place right now. With people’s anxiety about money going through the roof, what can we do to help those in our community?
The Scruffy Vicar Fund was formed to honour my good friend Rev Andy Mason (the scruffy vicar) who gave of his time, money and energy, so freely with those who were marginalised or in need. Made possible by the very generous donations given in his memory, we open our fund with £3024.90 and with your help, continue in Andy’s generosity of spirit.
Together There Is Enough
With our individual and limited resources, we might not be able to meet these needs, but when we come together we have enough.
“Together There Is Enough” is the principle behind Common Change, a charity that allows The Scruffy Vicar Fund to share resources with those in need.
Who Can We Help?
Focusing our attention on areas where Restore Cumbria is working - Carlisle and Penrith - we listen out for any need, whether it be an individual struggling or a family in crisis, we want to help if we can.
How Can We Help?
To ensure funds remain available to those who need it most, we are seeking to raise £400 a month, there are two ways you can be involved with the fund:
- Contact Chris
If you think you would like to become an Official SVF Member and sign up with Common Change. Members make regular donations and participate in the voting process for which needs we feel we can help with.
- Donate
Simply donate here today without the need for signing up. Regular Donation and One-off donations are always welcome!
Thank you so much for visiting our page and for helping us continue to share resources with our friends who need them.
