Thank you for considering a donation to Hampshire Hospitals Charity to support The Peritoneal Malignancy Institute (PMI). We use generously donated funds in a variety of ways to support our service. 

Your generous donation could be used to support:

• Important research studies and clinical trials in this rare and complex disease group
• Medical equipment
• Enhancement of the care of our patients and their relatives during their stay with us when undergoing surgery.
• On-site accommodation for a family member or loved one to stay nearby and visit patients during their time with us
• New equipment for the ward gym
• Staff welfare initiatives

In the recent past, donations have funded the purchase of a modern microscope and integrated digital camera system, which allows the production of high-quality digital photographs which will be uploaded to an online international Atlas to support with teaching and classification of these complex tumours.
