I ride in memory of my friend Greg Cordasco, a man who helped cultivate my love for cycling and who played an integral role in shaping the person I am today. I remember him for the verve with which he lived his life, and how he encouraged others to do the same. I can think of few better ways to honor him than to spend a day on my bike with friends new and old, working together to help raise funds for critical cancer research.

The NWC raises funds for HPV cancer research to support a project for "Immunotherapy for cervical cancer" at the Institut Gustave Roussy (IGR) and a project "head and neck cancer" at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ).

The NWC is committed to send at least 80% of the funds raised by individuals to those projects.
