The Nine Lives Society

The work is proven. The need is real. Now we need to sustain it.

When Texas Animal Rescue Society started in 2011, we were a small advocacy group with a big dream: to give every cat in Montgomery County a fair chance at a healthy, happy life.

Today, we've rehomed hundreds of cats a year. We've prevented thousands of kittens from being born into homelessness through massive spay/neuter campaigns. We've kept families together when landlords demanded impossible pet deposits or medical emergencies threatened to separate cats from the people who love them.

The strategies work. They just need fuel.

That's where you come in.

What Monthly Giving Makes Possible

When you join The Nine Lives Society, you're not just helping one cat. You're funding the infrastructure that makes rescue sustainable and scalable.

Your monthly gift allows us to:

✓ Cover the essentials that get cats adopted – Spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, microchips, and FIV/FeLV testing for every single cat

✓ Handle emergencies without hesitation – Ringworm treatment, injury care, and urgent medical interventions that can't wait for fundraising

✓ Feed our most vulnerable – Bottle-fed orphaned kittens and cats with special dietary needs get the nutrition they require

✓ Show up for families beyond adoption – When a landlord demands a $500 pet deposit or an adopter faces an unexpected vet bill, we step in so families stay together

✓ Go above and beyond – Medical care that other rescues might say is "too expensive," behavioral support that takes time, the extra mile that saves lives

✓ Fund sustainable solutions – Spay/neuter campaigns with our partners (The Spay/Neuter Alliance and Empty Shelter Project) that prevent overpopulation at its source

Here's the truth: Monthly donors change everything.

Monthly donors let us plan. Budget. Grow. And keep families together while fighting for long-term change.
