The Mirasol Foundation, Inc.

The Mirasol Foundation, Inc. raises money from the Mirasol community to support local charities. 100% of the money raised goes to Palm Beach County charities, with a focus on the northern part of the County. Founded in 2016, we have given grants totaling more than $2.8 million to over 50 different local charities. The grants address the following issues:

-- Education

-- Health, including social services and food support

-- Homelessness and housing

-- Child and protective services

-- Support of veterans who need assistance

Every year, starting in November, our Gifts and Grants Committee reviews submissions from over 70 charities and selects 45-50 charities for grants. Our due diligence includes meeting with every charity to get a sense of how they operate, assessing the loyalty of their employees, evaluating the operating efficiency of their organization, and analyzing their financial health. Grants are distributed in May.

The Mirasol Foundation, Inc. is a Section 501(c) (3) charitable organization, EIN 81-2776188. All donations are deemed tax-deductible absent any limitations on deductibility applicable to a particular taxpayer. No goods or services were provided in exchange for your contribution.
