The League of Literary Citizens 2
You aren’t here by accident. You’ve been invited to join The League of Literary Citizens, a core group of financial supporters who want to help build a bridge between writers and their literary dreams.
Since 1973, The Midwest Writers Workshop has nurtured aspiring and accomplished writers to improve their craft and achieve their publishing goals in a welcoming community. We’ve impacted the lives of over 8,500 writers from all walks of life. Herein lies the unique value of our conferences. Regardless of a writer’s background, bank account, or geographic location, we provide space and tools needed for them to grow in their craft within a tight-knit and supportive community.
The majority of our history was focused on a single summer conference. In order to impact writers year-round, we are expanding to seasonal events and on-going opportunities. One way we will continue to level the playing field is by connecting writers with our approachable, friendly, and professional faculty through personalized writing services.
In order to keep our services affordable to all writers, we need your help. A monthly donation will ensure that we can continue to provide space for writers to tell their stories for the next 50 years. Without your support who knows what stories the world may lose forever.
Midwest Writers Workshop is a 501c3 non-profit and operates fiscally independently, which means that you can make a tax-deductible donation!
