Kendall Scudder currently serves as the chairman of the Texas Democratic Party. In his more than 20 years of activism within the Democratic Party, Kendall has served on every level from Precinct Chairman to State Party Chairman with a reputation for being a workhorse.

Since his election in 2025, Kendall has led the TDP to financial solvency, recruiting a Democratic candidate for every state and federal office, launching an historic coordinated campaign, opening four additional offices across Texas, flipping a seat in the Texas Senate, and out-voting Republicans for the first time in more than two decades. 

Kendall is running for re-election to continue the work of rebuilding our party from the ground-up, with a strong emphasis on grassroots activism and progressive populism.
