Imagination Library of Hampton Roads

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is a book-gifting program where children from birth to age five, who are registered in their area, receive a free, brand new, age-appropriate book in the mail every month, addressed directly to them. This way, children can learn to love books, reading, and learning! The Imagination Library mails over 1,000,000 books every month! Parents/Grandparents can sign their child up for the Imagination Library as long as they are within our service area and within 0-5 years of age. This program is free of charge to registered families. The DeGood Foundation, in partnership with various funders and community partners sponsors the Imagination Library program by paying for the books and mailing while also marketing the program and regsitering children.
