The HUMEN Space
HUMEN is changing the face of what it means to be a man. We're a mental health charity leading a movement to improve and maintain men's mental health through The HUMEN Space - anonymous and non-clinical spaces for men to talk, listen and connect on a regular basis.
This is not a male problem, it's a human problem and it's costing us all so much. With 75% of UK suicides being male, it's not enough to just say men to talk, that’s why HUMEN is providing a preventative and practical solution to help men increase their emotional capacities and enable them to be more human.
As part of our work, we are proud to launch a five-part documentary called The HUMEN Series. Hear men from all walks of life share stories about the ups and downs of life, love, loss, fear and ultimately, what it means to be human. Featuring Bill Nighy, Danny Cipriani, David Gandy, Alan Carr, Tom Odell and Andrew Scott.
We need to raise £30,000 to extend our reach to as many men as possible by bringing us closer to our goal of having HUMEN Spaces in every UK region and ultimately becoming the global Gym for the Mind.
By helping us reach our £30,000 target, it will enable us to:
- Open 4 new HUMEN Spaces across the UK
- Run 300 HUMEN Space sessions
- Help 7,500 men on a regular basis
Donating just £10 will enable four men to attend one HUMEN Space session.
Thank you for your support. Together we can light a better way forward and change the course of a generation.
You are human. I am human. We are HUMEN
