Firefighter Hicks' Family Fundraiser

Following the unimaginable loss of his son, who was a dedicated Cherokee County firefighter, and his daughter-in-law in a senseless act of violence, Tim Hicks has faced years of overwhelming emotional and financial hardship. In the wake of the tragedy, Tim became the legal guardian and primary caregiver for his young grandson, who lost both of his parents. While providing a loving and stable home, Tim has also carried significant legal, estate, funeral, and tax-related expenses. He is now facing an urgent financial deadline and must raise the needed funds by July 1. We are asking our fire service family, friends, and community to come together to help ease this burden and support a grandfather who has selflessly devoted his life to raising his grandson through an unimaginable loss.
