The Gaza Children Village
Gaza Children’s Village is a non-political, humanitarian initiative providing daily education, nutrition, healthcare, and trauma-informed support to orphaned and vulnerable children across Gaza.
Through our integrated Academies of Hope, children receive safe, structured daily care that includes schooling, nutritious meals, pediatric services, and psychosocial support. These academies are locally staffed and community-led, creating stability and dignity for children living through ongoing crisis.
In addition to the academies, Gaza Children’s Village is expanding its impact through several interconnected initiatives:
Children’s Specialty Hospital
GCV is acquiring and developing Gaza’s first dedicated pediatric specialty hospital. This facility will provide advanced pediatric care including surgery, intensive care, rehabilitation, outpatient services, and medical training. The hospital will serve as a critical referral center for orphaned and vulnerable children across Gaza.
GCV Zoo and Animal Care Initiative
The GCV Zoo is an animal-welfare and child-focused initiative designed to provide therapeutic benefit, environmental education, and supervised recreational opportunities for children. It also creates local employment and promotes compassion, routine, and emotional healing through structured interaction with animals.
Short-Term and Emergency Initiatives
Alongside long-term programs, GCV continues to respond to urgent needs through short-term initiatives such as emergency food support, winterization assistance, medical supply distribution, temporary learning spaces, and psychosocial response activities. These efforts ensure children receive immediate care while longer-term systems are built and sustained.
All GCV programs are delivered through vetted local teams and partners, under U.S. 501(c)(3) governance with strict financial oversight and transparent reporting. Our work is humanitarian, child-focused, and rooted in dignity.
Your donation supports both immediate relief and long-term systems that allow children not only to survive, but to grow, learn, and heal.
