Goal
THE FORESTRY CLASSROOM NETWORK - ARGENTINA
Building Community through Education and Conservation.
Imagine an interconnected network of school communities from all over, learning how to produce native trees to supply the ever growing demand of habitat restoration. Imagine teachers and their students doing the science, the math to make this happen, learning about the cultural importance of their natural landscapes, rekindling their sense of place and belonging through purposeful school projects. Imagine entire school communities and local networks getting behind the idea, supporting the children and their vision.
This is the Forestry Classroom Network. A new space in the school for experiential outdoor education. A space where meaning and purpose are the motors of learning.
Your contribution will help us expand this network to new public schools, train hundreds of teachers in the pedagogical and practical aspects of the program, reach thousands of children and get even more people - families, local partners and government involved of the "Conversation of Conservation".
YOUR SUPPORT WILL:
- Help us expand The Forestry Classroom Network to 50 more schools in 2024/25.
- Train 200 more teachers on how to use the Forestry Classroom.
- Get 5000 children involved in producing trees.
- Improve our online resources for schools.
- Add 10.000 more trees to the Network, for donation to different conservation efforts around the country.
