THE FINAL PUSH!!

Friends, hi! Thank you for helping us reach our goal--this is the final push to raise the last $50,000 of the incredibly generous matching grant given to us by the Delores Barr Weaver Legacy Fund. This means every donation you give will be doubled. 

Why now? 

We are currently in the process of building out the biggest, best version yet of our award-winning pop-up installation for conversation: The Living Room™ in Jacksonville, FL. Part interactive art-installation, part performance venue, The Living Room™ pushes the boundaries of what was previously thought impossible in the mental health space. And we're committing to 2 years of it!!! That means continuous community building around mental health.  

While the 'Loneliness Epidemic' rages on and most mental health resources move online, we remain resolute in our theory that the real life-changing conversations happen in real life, in real time, if we give them a space to exist. We create those spaces. For 11 years now, we've been helping people feel the power of knowing they're not alone; with your help, we'll continue to innovate, build, educate, and support. Being a human is hard...you don't have to do it alone :)

Stronger Than Stigma® (“STS”) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization designed as a "for us, by us" social movement dedicated to Next Gen mental health advocacy. STS works to break down the barriers that keep people from reaching out for help and to eliminate the stigma around doing so, by creating meaningful experiences—in person and online—that bring people together and prove that no one is alone in their struggle. STS believes that the millennial generation will be the force behind this needed social change and it's leading the way, one experience at a time. STS was founded in 2013, while the founder was a student at the University of Florida. In 2020, STS' reach became global due to its pivot to virtual programming in response to the pandemic, reaching 50,000 people worldwide.
