The Entrepreneurship Fund

ONE DONATION, MANY FRESH STARTS

Help men in recovery build their own businesses through zero-interest loans that get paid back and lent out again.

South Africa's unemployment rate is one of the highest in the world. For a man coming out of rehab, often with a gap in his CV, a past he's working to put behind him, and no one willing to take a chance on him, finding work can feel impossible. Many of the men we walk with at Quiver Foundation are ready to work hard. What they don't have is a way in.

The Entrepreneurship Fund is how we help them make one.

HOW IT WORKS

The fund gives zero-interest loans to men in our reintegration programme so they can start small businesses: a food cart, a car wash, a coffee stand, a garden service, a trade they already know. They pay the loan back over time, and that money goes straight back into the fund to help the next man get started.

You give once, and your gift keeps working. A single donation can launch one business, then another, then another, as the same money gets repaid and lent out again.

WHY IT MATTERS

Recovery doesn't end when rehab does. The hardest part often comes after: rebuilding routine, purpose, dignity and an income. Running a business gives a man all of these. He has a reason to get up in the morning, people relying on him, and the pride of building something that belongs to him.

Over time, it also grows past one person. As these businesses get going, the men can hire other guys coming through the programme, support Quiver's work, and become proof to the next man that a new life is possible.

We're being honest with you

Lending to people in recovery carries risk. Not every business will succeed, and not every loan will be paid back in full. We think the risk is worth taking. Every man in this fund is walking with mentors who know him and his journey, and they'll support him while he builds. We'd rather back these men and sometimes lose some money than not back them at all.

HELP US FILL THE POT

We're building the fund's starting capital so it can become a lasting, self-sustaining source of opportunity. Whatever you give, it goes into businesses, and the men behind them, over and over again.
