Goal
Happy New Year!!!
Dear Friends and Family,
As many of you know, I am thankful to be a Member-Owner and Board Member of the Electric City Community Grocery (a.k.a. The Co-Op).
Soon, The Co-Op will be a reality. A community-owned grocery store in Downtown Schenectady, where everyone can shop for healthy and nutritious food from the Mohawk Valley.
To date, the ECCG Member-Owners (+1,100) have secured over $4M in funding. This funding is designated for store development and build-out. However, additional funds are needed in early 2025 to initiate our contract with national experts and other local partnerships. These partnership will take us to the next phase of the store's development, the one where we secure our site and build a store!
Therefore, I am asking you to join me with a New Years Contribution to The Co-Op. To conveniently contribute online, please use the options on the right.
Please feel free to share this link with your friends and family that may care about healthy living and food insecurity in our communities.
Thank you for all of your love and support over the years. I wish everyone a happy and healthy 2025.
-Andy G.
