Join Tottering Biped in our 8th annual Shakespeare by Nature at Dundurn Castle Park with not one, but two productions to enjoy!
We are raising funds to make sure this summer's productions are a blast! Can you help?
The second longest-running West End comedy in history with translations into over thirty languages, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) sees three charismatic, wildly ambitious actors attempt to present all thirty-seven of Shakespeare's plays in a single performance. They have a rudimentary concept of the stories, a smattering of famous lines, and a meagre assortment of costumes and props. Thus armed, the three brazenly launch into their task with an earnest focus and breakneck enthusiasm. Performances run August 12th to 30th, Tuesdays to Saturdays at 7PM (weather permitting).
The Carnival of Animals is a classical music composition by Camille Saint-Saëns, often used to introduce children to the world of classical Western music with movements devoted to elephants, chickens, and turtles. Our production features Mime artist Trevor Copp's interpretation of these animals - watch him become a clucking, growling, and flapping parade of animals who bridge this wonderful music to the hearts of children and adults alike. Featuring pianists Renée Huynh and Amelia Yates. Performances run Sunday August 17th, 24th and 31st 7pm (weather permitting).
