The Civics Institute

A few years ago I was a bystander in the great American experiment of democracy. I went and voted every four years for President, and in most mid-terms but that's where my civic engagement ended. 

Since 2017, I have been heavily involved learning first hand how our democracy works and functions, and what it needs. 

What it needs is an engaged citizenry, people who are involved in their community and working to make a difference in their own hometowns. 

So I created the Civics Institute, a place where people can come to obtain the tools and knowledge to be involved in their communities. To help people gain a deeper understanding of the fragile and beautiful thing that is democracy. 

My big dream is a world where every citizen serves their community in some fashion. It's a big, audacious, and crazy dream but it FIRES me up. 

If I am to hit that big dream, I need your help, so that I can file all the paperwork, pay all the fees, become an official non-profit and have this work be my everyday job.
