Building Brighter Futures For Youth

Realities for Children Boulder County provides scholarships, transitional housing, emergency funds, life skills workshops and other wrap around services to former foster care youth. Your gift will make a difference helping us empower these young adults, and help them become positive contributors to their community. Thank you!

How We Make an Impact
We have several different scholarship opportunities available each year, as well as other services that help sustain and encourage the young adults who are a part of the RFCBC family.

TRIUMPH SCHOLARSHIP FUND $2,000 will provide an educational scholarship for college and vo-tech programs. [A monthly commitment of $167 will provide a Triumph Scholarship.]

FOUR-YEAR DEGREE SCHOLARSHIPS TO CU In collaboration with the CU Guardians Scholars Program and corporate sponsors, we provide four-year scholarships to youth who have aged out of the foster care system. Just $5,000 a year (for four years) provides one of these scholarships! [A monthly contribution of $417 will fund this scholarship.]

TRANSITIONAL HOUSING We run the Polaris House, a facility designed to provide housing with subsidized rent for youth who have aged out of foster care while they attend classes.

EMERGENCY FUNDS We offer emergency support to our young adults who are working to overcome obstacles that life throws at us, with very limited resources.
