FEATURED INITIATIVES
Frank T. Ko Endowment
A new fund was established and announced at the 25 Year Celebration. The Frank T. Ko Endowment Fund honors Frank’s unwavering commitment to CA Psi, with all scholarship dollars benefitting the chapter’s membership and being centralized with headquarters’ Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation. Pledge your support today by clicking the DONATE NOW button below!
About the Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation: Holds more than 2,000 funds restricted to various undergraduate chapters. These funds provide scholarships and leadership grants to hundreds of brothers each year. All gifts to chapter scholarship funds are 100% tax-deductible, and awards used for appropriate educational expenses are 100% tax-free for the student recipients.
30 Year Celebration
Planning for the 30 Year Celebration starts now! Our goal is to achieve 100% active and alumni member attendance.
Many of our brothers gathered to celebrate our 10th, 20th and 25th anniversaries, but the new AVC has already worked with the chapter to establish a 5 year plan which builds up to an amazing event in 2027. You won't want to miss this, and to make this a huge success we need to start planning today. Are you in?!
Renaissance Program
CA Psi is re-dedicating itself to helping its pre-charter brothers experience the rituals and leverage the resources of our national fraternity. Our fundamental goal is to enable everyone to remain better connected with the chapter and each other moving forward. We also have some very exciting events and other initiatives in development that are certain to elevate our local and national histories, as well as re-energize excitement for your membership.
We would like to invite members of Tau Rho Sigma and Phi Phi Phi Fraternities who graduated in good standing with their organizations to apply for the Sigma Phi Epsilon Brotherhood of Renaissance Program. If you qualify, please contact the AVC President or AVC Vice President. For an overview of the Program, please visit https://sigep.org/resources/chapter-officers/vice-president-of-recruitment/renaissance-of-brotherhood-program/.
Artifacts Restoration and Storage Solution
Pepperdine’s chapter of SigEp (CA Psi) is one of the most historic student organizations as well as longest actively-tenured and consistently successful Greek organizations on campus. In partnership with the University, CA Psi has helped deliver immeasurable and lasting added value for university, community, spirituality and fraternity since its national chartering in 1997.
And yet, the fraternity's history and critical artifacts are getting lost or damaged...
Starting with our chapter's composites (both preceding and following its chartering with SigEp), we have begun a research project to locate treasured assets so that they may be centrally stored and preserved moving forward. Inevitably, many of these materials may no longer exist and may need to be reproduced or repaired. Are you in?!
Charter Restoration (COMPLETED!)
Our chapter’s charter was lost, but our AVC was able to re-create this document with the help of HQ shortly after our chapter’s 30 year celebration.
New Activations
Currently, Pepperdine’s student organizations borrow canopies, tables, stages and other structural materials from the university for on campus activations... they’re left to fend for themselves (and, thus, rarely activate) off campus.
There is no unique look and feel with what’s provided, and the general condition of these materials is poor from years of use. SigEp becomes part of the sea of sameness.
CA Psi’s other materials are minimal, not easily portable or stored, incompatible with university-provided materials and not ideal for outdoor conditions.
We will provide an activation solution for SigEp CA Psi, that enables the chapter to deliver the most professional-looking, memorable and engaging experience that Pepperdine University has ever seen… from any student organization (Greek other otherwise). Are you in?!
