As Ramadan comes to an end, I’m dedicating my upcoming triathlon and marathon training to supporting Thaakat Foundation’s mission to raise $1 million this Ramadan.

As a board member, I’ve seen firsthand how carefully donations are stewarded and how directly they translate into real education, healthcare, and opportunity.

What began as one small school near Karachi’s largest landfill is now eight thriving campuses, an IT institute, and a medical center, serving 6,500 children and families in communities where opportunity is rarely offered.

We’re not just building schools.
We’re building pathways out of poverty.

World-class education. Healthcare access. Safe spaces to learn, grow, and dream—where they’re needed most. Today, 40%+ of our students are girls, 75% of our staff are women, and many graduates now teach the next generation.

But keeping these doors open takes faith and support.

It costs $50,000 every month just to sustain what already exists. And our five-year vision will bring hospitals, advanced tech education, vocational training, and community-led economic opportunity to thousands more.
