Team PyroTech was thrilled to win the Engineering Inspiration Award at the FIRST NC State Championship on April 6, 2025!
This gives us an opportunity to attend the FIRST Championship in Houston!
April 16 to 19th
Moving this many people to Houston (18 hour drive time) along with robot, pit supplies, students, and mentors is not an easy task and we would be so grateful for your support in getting there! Attending the World Championship with 55,000+ people from around the world is a life changing experience for students.
NASA typically sponsors the Engineering Inspiration teams who make their way to Championships but they recently announced they cannot fund the $5000 registration fee this year. In addition, the bus is $24,000, hotel rooms within 15 miles of the Convention Center are approximately $200/room. Food, water, transporting our robot - all additional costs that we need to cover before April 15.
