TEAM RARE 26.2

I’m taking on Team RARE 26.2 for my children, for the families I’ve come to know through this journey, and for those I have yet to meet. I want to use my miles to help build the kind of community and momentum that have made a difference in our lives.

We’re approaching ten years of searching for answers. Over that time, I’ve seen what a difference it makes when doctors keep digging, families share what they’ve learned, and advocates push for change. I hope the work happening today will help shorten the path to answers for other children and families.

More than 30 million Americans live with a rare disease. That number includes people we know and love, and many more whose stories we may never hear. When we come together, we can help ensure their needs are heard and keep progress moving forward.
