TEAM RARE 26.2

We’re A Few Good Genes: a small crew of women from Rocket Pharmaceuticals who love to move and believe in the power of showing up for one another. Our team starts with Brooke Schuster, Rohini Mitra and Meg Dodge, with room for others to join us.

Rocket’s mission connects us to individuals and families whose lives are shaped by rare diseases. Our work in inherited heart disease gives us a particular appreciation for what heart health makes possible, from everyday routines to the adventures and milestones we look forward to. That purpose inspires us to care for our own hearts and keep working toward a better future for the community we serve.

From October 12 through November 13, we’re each taking on 26.2 miles as part of Team RARE 26.2, proudly supported by Rocket Pharma. We’re embracing its one rule: Do It Your Way. Walking, running, biking, hiking, dancing or rolling, we’ll move at our own pace and help each other keep going.

These miles give us time to connect, challenge ourselves and carry the rare disease community’s stories beyond our workday.

We’ll celebrate the small steps, encourage each other through the harder stretches and make room for a little friendly competition.
