Team Hope Story - 2023 TCS New York City Marathon

I'm running the NYC Marathon for Hope Story! Would you consider furthering this great organization by joining our team by donating any amount? Can't wait to run with you on our team and for Hope Story!

I am paying my own race entry, hotel, travel and everything out of my own pocket, so rest assured your donation helps Hope Story directly and entirely! 

Your donation helps Hope Story provide resources, support, and hope to families whose child has received a Down syndrome diagnosis. 

I want to make this fun for you and raise a lot of money, so here's some fun ideas for donating based on facts about the race!

• If all you could give is a fiver for the 5 boroughs of New York we'll be running through, then a $5 donation is much appreciated! 
• 26.2 miles race. Would you consider a donation of a dollar per mile that I'll be running? $26.20. 
• On average, it takes about 50,000 steps to complete a marathon, so if you gave a dollar for every 1000 steps, that would be a $50 donation!
• I will burn about 125 calories each mile (over 3200 cals through the course!), so could you cover a $125 donation? 
• There's 138,336 feet in a marathon! If you gave one-tenth of a penny per foot of the course, that would would be a size-able $138.34 donation!
• I will be shooting for a time between 3 hours and 40 min to 4 hours and 15 minutes, so between 240-255 minutes.Would you consider $1 per minute for a donation of $240-$255? That would be huge! 
  • I will personally bring back or mail you a shirt from NYC! 
    
• The elevation gain and elevation loss in this race is about 800 feet over the course! So while it seems flat overall, it's actually quite hilly. A donation of $800 would be a real boost to get over the hills! 
  •  I will personally bring back or mail you a shirt AND mug from NYC! 
• If you could give more to this fantastic organization, a donation of $1000 or more, then I will be so much more than grateful... 
  •  I will personally bring back or mail you a shirt and mug AND mail you a frozen pizza from the best place in NYC!
