Madrid Half Marathon – The First Milestone of 2026

Over 40 runners are taking on the streets of Madrid to kick off our biggest year yet.

For the fourth year running, Bardo Running Club laces up in memory of our dear friend Bernardo "Bardo" Eggesbø, who passed away from osteosarcoma at just 16 years old. What started as a way to honour him has grown into something much bigger: over 650 donors, running across 9 countries, 3 continents, and two completed projects for young cancer patients in Norway.

This year, we're raising NOK 500,000 to fund a dedicated training facility for sarcoma patients at the new Radiumhospitalet in Oslo. A space where young patients can move, build confidence and feel like themselves.

Madrid is where it starts. Holmenkollstafetten in May is next. Every step brings us closer.
