We hope you will support Taste of New Futures: Around the World, a fundraiser event hosted by the New Futures Associate Board, on October 4, 2024, from 6-9pm at Skyline609! 

New Futures is among the only college success organizations leveraging shorter-term post-secondary credentials (usually community college degrees) to launch rewarding careers in our region's high-growth sectors.  We partner with our Scholars and Alumni to support them through their academic programs, provide flexible scholarship funding, and connect them to skills, professional development opportunities, and new networks so they can complete their credentials and spring into their careers from a place of confidence and strength. 

This unique event will transport guests on a global cultural journey through immersive exhibits, authentic cuisine, live performances and more - all in support of providing scholarships and advising resources to young people in the DMV.

This event allows New Futures to share our mission while celebrating the diversity of cultures in an atmosphere of joy and togetherness. Your sponsorship will enable us to raise crucial funds supporting education, employment services and success for our scholars  each year. Thank you for helping us reach our goal of $30,000, which will provide multiple first-time scholarships.

Thank you for supporting the Taste of New Futures. If you are a Dream ($5,000) or Opportunity ($2,500) level sponsor, the Fair Market Value (FMV) of the goods and services attendees will receive during the evening (food, beverages, and swag) is $75 per person. For all others, the FMV of the goods and services attendees will receive during the evening (food and beverages) is $45 per person. For federal income tax purposes, your contribution is tax deductible  minus the FMV amounts as indicated above. If you do not attend and no goods or services are received your contribution is fully tax-deductible as per IRS guidelines.
