About: Tara is one of six children, and her mother, Madam Canas, is our wonderful head cook at the orphanage. We lovingly call her "Happy Baby" because she’s always smiling and laughing. Her joy is infectious, and her boundless energy keeps her running around and playing with the other kids, filling our home with life.

You’ll often find Tara munching on fresh fruit from the trees or savoring the candies the missionaries bring. She’s a tough little girl, always standing up for herself and ready to take on the world. Tara adores princesses, loves getting dirty while playing outside, and can often be found swinging on the swings, her laughter ringing through the air.

What truly warms our hearts is how nurturing she is, especially with her younger brother, Wood-Andel. She’s always there to help with bathing, feeding, and changing him, showing such love and responsibility for someone her age.

We are so proud of Tara’s progress in her English class. She’s thriving and embraces every opportunity to learn. Her dedication and enthusiasm inspire not just her classmates, but all of us at the orphanage. Tara truly brings a special light into our home, reminding us of the joy and resilience that children like her can bring into our lives.
