I’ve recently moved to Texas. I bought a 22 acre farm. Since I moved in there has been 8 dogs show up to be helped. The area I’m in has no shelters. This makes me sad. No place to try to get them homes. I adopted two puppies that I recently found in a ditch. The mother roams the town unswayed with content pups following her. These two were left behind. Some kind women managed to get a hold of her and had her spayed and found her a home. Not sure what happened to the other 4 puppies. The two I took are such wonderful dogs. My boyfriend and I had Three of our own which made it hard to keep taking dogs in. I’m trying to buy seven more acres next to me in hopes to start a shelter. I hope not to find abandoned horses next! I will give in a small way to help the small ones who look to us for a safe place. Renee
