(very injured cat in Makrygialos!) Hello, I’m Ranya, a tourist from Sweden visiting Crete. I came across this shelter because I was wondering if you could by any chance use your platform on social media to gather some locals that could check up on a certain spot in Makrygialos. There is a stray orange, adult cat with one ear, broken front paw (which he can barely walk on), and a skin condition that is eating away at the fur on his (or her) head and back. He looks like he is in a lot of pain. I think he was hit by a car. No one is looking out for him. I found him in the parking lot between car rental Motor Plan and the small supermarket at: Makris Gialos, Ierapetra 720 55, Greece I have seen many strays in my life during travels but I haven’t seen one in this bad condition. I fully understand that this is not your responsibility, and you already have hundreds of animals to worry about. I wanted to take him to the veterinarian an hour away but unfortunately I have no time since I am leaving Greece tomorrow morning. I am donating to this shelter and I would greatly appreciate if you could just spread the word about this cat if anyone happens to be nearby. Thank you 🤍
