Hello from all us at Mustang Camp. As you are likely aware, there are over 45,000 wild horses that have been rounded up off land in the western United States and are being held in Government operated holding pens across the west. And that number continues to grow. Mustang Camp has been providing a positive solution for these animals since 2008 by gentling and training wild horses, because a gentled and trained horse is 1000 times more likely to become adopted. The donation you make today will add up to allow us to take in another wild horse or burro. In the past we have survived on government programs that pay for adoption placement of mustangs, but this source of revenue has dried up just at the moment when the threat of wholesale killing of the animals in holding pens has never looked more likely. The only way to continue forward is to ask animal lovers everywhere to support our program with donations.
In 2018 we plan to greatly increase the number of horses we train and adopt with a special emphasis on the wild horses on Navajo land who's future is most likely a trip to a Mexican slaughterhouse. Your donation will help us get them to Mustang Camp. You can sponsor a specific sanctuary horse by visiting our currents horses at http://www.mustangcamp.org/home/horses-available-for-adoption. Add the name of the horse in the comments section.
