For 49 years, Southwest Community Health Center Inc. has been dedicated to providing high-quality, accessible medical, dental, and behavioral health services to individuals and families in the Greater Bridgeport area, especially those without coverage.


In 2024, we proudly served 29,075 unique patients across 25 locations offering essential medical, behavioral, and preventative care.  However, thousands of individuals still lack access to the care they need. 


And that’s where you come in!  


Your Annual Appeal gift directly supports patients enabling us to provide critical resources, care, and services to individuals and families who need it the most. 


With your generous contribution, we can continue to deliver high-quality healthcare to underserved communities and ensure that no one is turned away due to inability to pay.



Here’s How Your Annual Appeal Gift Can Make A Difference!

Every dollar you donate makes a difference! Here’s how your donation can help: 


  • $25: X-ray for a patient without insurance to help detect illness or injury.
  • $50: At-home blood pressure cuff for a patient without insurance, so they can monitor their blood pressure in between visits.
  • $100: Preventive dental services, such as cleaning treatments for adults and children without insurance coverage, so they can maintain good oral health.
  • $250: Annual physical or well-child visit for a patient without insurance to help them get and stay healthy.
  • $500: Eye exam and glasses for a patient in our McKinney Healthcare for the Homeless program.
  • $1000: Medication for a patient with a chronic condition in our McKinney Healthcare for the Homeless program.
