Ethereal Purr is Jeffrey Lynn and myself, SuZen Marie. We’re musicians/singer-songwriters. Music has been our passion for as far back as memories will allow!
We have been performing throughout the US for 40 years!

My other passion is Animals. As a little girl, my BEST friends we’re Dogs and Cats (actually ALL non-human beings...i was FASCINATED with bugs, turtles, frogs and my pet Chameleon) My GREATEST LOSES in life revolved around my creature friends. When i finally discovered that my 1st Dog (and best friend in the WORLD), Ringo, hadn’t REALLY run away, and that my Mother, out of self-survival, had called the dreaded pound, I was devastated.
I have since forgiven her
….6 little children and a puppy with sharp pointy teeth making 5 of them cry AND a pissed off husband chasing Ringo up and down the stairs was more than she could handle :-(

Much to my parents chagrin, i quit college and joined a Rock Band. I learned to play the Drums first, then keyboards. I ultimately settled on my fav instrument, the Bass Guitar. All the while i was taking in strays, finding them homes, petitioning locals to STOP shooting Doves for “fun” and hunting Bears. I was even setting up events where i would teach people how to find household products not tested on animals and, foods that were vegan and vegetarian!
My Advocacy work really kicked into high gear again when i discovered CHARLOTTE
and her Rescue KSAR in Afghanistan. My mind was BLOWN by her COURAGE to help and protect animals in such a scary, dangerous place! She became my inspiration and SHERO (cheesy word) And, GET THIS, she went to College right down the ROAD from where i grew up in Michigan!

She became my inspiration and SHERO (cheesy word) And, GET THIS, she went to College right down the ROAD from where i grew up in Michigan!The horrific but eventual success of transporting hundreds of Dogs and Cats on a plane out of Afghanistan was one of the MOST monumental moments of my life. All those that followed along with me know EXACTLY what i am talking about. We are deeply bonded forever because of it. <3
Since then i have discovered the HUNDREDS of other Rescues throughout the world who have given their lives in service to care for suffering animals. I bow down to them ALL with a heart full of gratitude. Unfortunately, there is only so much time in a day so i have chosen to help Efeler @efelercanlari and Ayse @ayseloveanimals in Turkey as much as i can while supporting many others when time permits.
