Goal

The Healthcare Chokehold

Following the devastating escalation that began last July, pro-government forces and allied factions have maintained a suffocating blockade on the province. Security checkpoints sealing off all major access routes continue to block or severely restrict shipments of essential goods, explicitly turning away vehicles attempting to bring in medical supplies. Because of this ongoing blockade, local healthcare infrastructures are collapsing:

  • Severe Medicine Depletion: The blockade has directly restricted the supply of crucial medications required to treat basic chronic illnesses, trauma injuries, and pediatric emergencies.

  • Overwhelmed Facilities: Local hospitals (such as the Suwayda, Shahba, and Salah hospitals) have been completely overstretched by the influx of casualties. Staff are forced to operate under severe strain with a dwindling inventory of baseline medical necessities.

  • Power & Fuel Starvation: Medical centers are facing critical shortages of the fuel required to run emergency generators. Some regional facilities, like the Salkhad Hospital, have been forced to halt all surgical operations entirely, leaving them only capable of providing basic emergency first aid.

🎙️ Behind the Campaign: About Hannah Klein

This initiative is organized and led by Hannah Klein, a geopolitical analyst, podcaster, and nonfiction author with over a decade of experience documenting global security frameworks. A member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA), her ongoing field analyses and reporting can be found via Sentinel Journal, Indo-Pacific Dispatch, and Podcast called Hannah Klein's Time(archived) and Hannah Klein's Time: Indo-Pacific Dispatch.

While the plight of the Druze people has been on her radar since childhood, this campaign was catalyzed by direct, secure communications from an insider inside Syria regarding the government siege in Suwayda. To protect this source's life, their identity must remain strictly confidential—a stark reminder of the dangerous reality on the ground.

Driven to break through the silence, Hannah has spent months in continuous contact with Druze expat networks and conducting deep-dive interviews—ranging from local citizens surviving under siege in Suwayda to an English professor at Haifa University who is part of the Israeli Druze community. These widespread testimonies reveal a profound level of suffering that mainstream media entirely overlooks. Backed by over ten years of journalistic integrity, Hannah is dedicating this project to tracking the ground reality, reporting on the ongoing crisis, and ensuring these critical accounts are preserved.

🛡️ Direct Impact: Where Your Money Goes

To maintain absolute transparency and protect independent operations, your contributions are deployed across two strict priority lines:

1. EMERGENCY CIVILIAN AID & MEDICAL RELIEF (Suwayda American Society)

Direct relief funds are securely processed and will be handed directly to the Suwayda American Society to be channeled immediately to trusted, verified local networks on the ground. These funds are explicitly used to address the survival crisis through:

  • Medical Supplies: Procurement and delivery of essential trauma medicines, chronic disease treatments, and infant care supplies to bypass the checkpoint blockades.

  • Clinic Power: Purchasing generator fuel to prevent total power failure at localized medical centers and civilian clinics, keeping emergency surgeries and basic care operational.

  • Basic Survival: Direct distribution of basic emergency food baskets to heavily isolated and vulnerable families suffering from severe shortages of food and clean drinking water.

2. INDEPENDENT CRISIS DOCUMENTATION (JFPA Action)

Your continuous or recurring monthly sponsorships directly fund the independent tracking operations of JFPA Action. This budget empowers our vital field journalism and investigative research to:

  • War Crimes Documentation: Maintain uncompromised, objective documentation and rigorous tracking of war crimes and crimes against humanity occurring within the region.

  • Censorship-Free Reporting: Conduct deep-dive investigative reporting free from local or state censorship.

  • Global Briefings: Keep global audiences, human rights frameworks, and newsletter readers accurately briefed through open-source analyses, podcast briefings, and strategic updates.

đź”’ Safety, Transparency, & Integrity

All financial transactions are tokenized and processed securely using industry-standard encryption. To protect the physical safety of volunteers, medical staff, and vulnerable recipients on the ground, specific logistical routing and local personnel identities are kept strictly confidential.

No humanitarian aid funds are ever diverted to media payroll, and no independent journalism updates are subject to external donor influence.

We thank you for your unwavering global solidarity and your commitment to preserving both human life and independent truth.
