In celebration of my 58th year, I'd like to invite 58 people from my spheres of influence to donate within their means to The NoMa Community Center in Binghamton, NY, my permanent home.


The NoMa Community Center is a destination where everyone is welcome, where people come to learn from each other, work together, and contribute to a healthy, vibrant community. They believe that a strong, tight-knit community is essential to a person’s growth and the community’s development. 


Their core values align with my own as a Boricua poet of color: educator:  BU CompLit grad student : activist: visual artist: mother of an adult, thriving son:
