Supporting the Work of Eli M. Gold
Friends,
I hope this finds you well.
Over the past fifteen years I have been working with policy makers across the globe in efforts to make the United States and its allies safer and stronger. America is confronting an ascending China, a revengeful Russia, a theocratic Iran, a crazy North Korea and theocratically inspired movements like radical Islam, but we lack a grand strategy for confronting these threats and supporting our democratic allies. Few institutes today ask about America’s strategic blindness. After realizing the critical vacuum that needed to be filled to recognize the depth of the issues we face, in 2019 I along with several of my colleagues created the Gold Institute for International Strategy.
Through our work we created go-to organization for U.S. policy makers, as well as foreign governments seeking guidance on the most complex foreign policy and defense issues.
In my work with Congress, I have created a network of congressional members on Capitol Hill to work toward a common goal. I am regularly consulted on the drafting a variety of legislation and to host briefings with a variety of U.S. and foreign government officials and policy experts on Capitol Hill regarding current defense or foreign policy concerns.
At the request of members of European parliaments, I have created a TransAtlantic Dialogue where members of congress and parliaments can work together in an off the record manner to discuss security concerns in an unobstructed environment.
Some other projects I have been personally involved with include (in no particular order): The Abraham Accords, Alternative threats, a practical multi-tiered program to combat the rise of antisemitism, Trans-Atlantic issues of trade and security, Strategic partnerships between countries, Practical solutions to confront a rising China, Pursuing stability for our friends the regions of Kurdistan and beyond.
Over the years I have offered policy guidance to numerous candidates seeking office at all levels of government including Governor, U.S. House, Senate and 3 presidential candidates.
For this reason, I ask for your support to continue this most important work. Your tax-deductible contribution will go a long way.
Respectfully yours,
Eli M. Gold
