About the Campaign

Did you know? The median amount to acquire a pair of hearing aids is approximately $3,000 and could easily go up to $15,000 if better features are required for work/education purposes as they enable clients to achieve better sensory input. Having a pair of hearing aids would assist them in receiving further education, securing more employment opportunities and having an overall better quality of life.

In addition, recurring cost of purchasing hearing aid batteries will also impact the long term financial stability of those using the hearing aid daily for long hours.

As a Voluntary Welfare Organization (VWO), The Singapore Association for the Deaf (SADeaf) is heavily dependent on fund raising and the generous donations of corporates and the general public. At least $5.1 million is needed per year in order for SADeaf to effectively run all its services and programmes.

These services ranges from counselling, soft skill training, jobs opportunities, social integration activities, Singapore sign language training, deaf access services (Interpretation & Note taking) and many more.

To ensure continuity and sustainability of these services, SADeaf requires the support of each and everyone throughout the year.

Help us prepare and get ready to support those in need whenever the situation arises.

Be a change maker, be a giver.
