Supporting Mi Casa Es Tu Casa Efforts

Our organization is dedicated to supporting current high school students who lack the resources, but hold the potential to pursue a higher education

By preparing them with the necessary tools and knowledge, students will be able to make the best informed decisions for their future, whether that is attending a university, community college, or trade/vocational school.

Now more than ever with the closing of schools due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the shortage of guidance counselors, we are asking for funds to assist with the following ongoing projects:

  1. Web Development Efforts for Online Resource Hub
  2. Development of Webinars for Current Seniors
  3. Bilingual YouTube Channel 
  4. Scholarships for Underrepresented High School Seniors


Our most recent crowdfunding effort allowed us to raise $1,600 towards scholarships for high school graduates (Class of 2020) that identified as either: first-generation, from a single parent household, or undocumented. Whether it was $5 donated of $50, every amount was special because it often came from current low-income/first-generation college students wanting to support this next generation.
