Help Wildlife in Need
Every day, injured, sick, orphaned and trapped wildlife across East Sussex needs our help.
East Sussex Wildlife Rescue & Ambulance Service deals with around 7,000 wildlife casualties every year, from hedgehogs and garden birds to foxes, badgers, swans, birds of prey and deer.
Your donation helps our rescuers, veterinary team and volunteers be there when wildlife needs us most.
Your donation makes a difference
Your support helps fund:

Whether you can give £5, £10, £25, £50 or more, every donation helps.
Regular monthly donations are especially valuable, giving us dependable support throughout the year.
Over 90% are affected by human activity
Road traffic. Litter. Netting. Buildings. Pets. Pollution.
Over 90% of the wildlife casualties we deal with are affected directly or indirectly by human activity.
Your support helps us be there when wildlife and the human world collide.
Every casualty matters
A peregrine or a pigeon — they suffer just the same.
At WRAS, we don't decide which animals deserve help according to how rare, impressive or popular they are. Our aim is to give every casualty the appropriate care it needs.
East Sussex WRAS has been helping wildlife since 1996 and now operates wildlife ambulances, specialist rescue equipment and its own wildlife casualty and veterinary facilities.
We could not do it without public support.
Please help us be there for the next casualty
We never know whether the next call will be for a hedgehog injured on the road, a bird trapped in netting, a fox in distress or a deer caught in fencing.
But with your support, we can be ready when that call comes.
Please donate today and help us continue Helping Wildlife in Need.
Thank you for your support.
