---Instructions for adopting a whale---
🐋🐋🐋 Instructions for adopting a whale 🐋🐋🐋
Thank you for being part of this beautiful extended community that supports the marine conservation programs! Please, follow the instructions below to facilitate your adoption process.
If you have chosen an individual:
- Select the checkbox “Write us a comment”
- Please write the ID of the whale you wish to adopt (CRC-XXXXX, HW-MNXXXXX, etc).
- If you have already chosen a name for your adopted whale, please write it after the ID — please, consider this naming advice: If you are intending to name your whale after an individual, we very much prefer a nickname that is not overtly a human name — if there is a nickname that you might use, this is often more unique, and preferred. Our favorite names are memorable, unique and relate to something visible on the tail of the whale. Think creatively — what do the patterns and shapes you see in the whale’s tail inspire? Avoid common names like ‘Nick’ or ‘Scar’; this name will be with the whale forever and we’ll always send you updates whenever we learn anything about your whale! (If you have not chosen a name, we will help you to choose one through the adoption process, just mention the ID of the animal you want to adopt.
- Example: “ID: CRC-XXXX, Name: “Cobalto” In case you have not chosen a name, : “ID: CRC-XXXX”
- We will proceed as soon as we can for delivering your adoption certificate!
If you have not chosen and individual:
- No worries, we can help you to choose one.
- Select the checkbox “Write us a comment”
- Write: “I haven’t chosen a whale to adopt”
- We will connect you as soon as we can for starting the adoption process and helping you to find a perfect whale to adopt.
Thank you again for your support! 🐋
